I was scared to start, I didn't have a mentor and prior to getting a nice professional DSLR I was only a hobbyist with film! I dove in, learned every button, setting & what it all meant. That was 13 years ago! As my skills have progressed, I have taken my own share of courses, mentored with some of the best in the industry, I have taught so many beginners who are now successful business owners with beautiful art, I decided to finally step into the online space and offer digital courses to those all over!

So you have a new camera, or maybe an old one & you want to get out of auto mode. This is your guide to manual mode. I walk you through what settings your camera should be in to set you up for successful creation!

Camera Settings
But what does it all mean? ISO, Aperture, Shutter speed. What they do, tips to get it right & in depth into how to use these settings for the best outcome!

composition & framing
While settings are important, an image isn't compelling without great framing & composition. This course will get you headed in the right direction with how to frame your shot. From leading lines, rule of thirds & more.

Lighting
This course gets you started on understanding lighting, the most important part of photography. There is a follow up course to this module releasing in the next couple months, but for now this will help you to start understanding how light works & how to manipulate it.

Fourteen years ago I was using film, from a early age I had a camera in my hand. It was always a passion of mine to photograph every little thing. Nine years go I took it to another level and started a business. Upgrading all my gear. Teaching myself the rules, Soaking up every form of help, signing up for every mentor session i could find. But, one thing that no one ever helped me with was my camera, basic settings etc. So going into some of these mentor programs I struggled to keep up. I was always a step behind. So when I decided to educate other photographers, I promised myself Id alway make sure they were prepped with basic knowledge before jumping in to the more complicated parts of photography.
